Who We Are NWAMI Supporters NWAMI Supporters NWAMI has been working tirelessly since their establishment in 2011 to make a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. This started with work throughout Colwyn Bay and North Wales and now we are working to reach communities and groups across the Globe. However, this would not have been possible without the support of first and foremost members of the Local Community. NWAMI encourages a vast amount of talented people to come and showcase what they are capable of, and through this NWAMI is able to reach more and more people. “I have seen great strides forward taken in my home town of Colwyn Bay in bringing together persons from varying nations and cultures by means of community education and language classes, social events and ethnic entertainment, art, and literary endeavours” David Peacock, Local photographer and find Artist. Those who have worked with the organisation to mange projects and organize event also speak highlight of the work that NWAMI is doing and the goal we are striving to achieve. “I have been a Project worker at NWAMI/CCE since 2016 and NWAMI is one of the few organisations in the area that work alongside local faith groups...they have helped both refugees and new migrants from the mosque by providing English and Welsh classes to develop their own language and interpersonal skills” Nahida Miah Project Worker, NWAMI To spread the message and further support Cultural Cohesion through integration and cultural exchange we also work with Bangor University, specifically supporting Bangor International Students' Society (BISS) “Bangor International Students' Society (BISS) is grateful to the Networking for Awareness of Multicultural Integration. Without NWAMI's Kind Contributions, BISS would not have been able to successfully host and international cultural fair at Bangor University. At this fair, 200 people from cultures all over the world took part and exchanged stories, foods, and music. NWAMI's help made it possible for cross-cultural dialogue to appear in a safe and friendly environment” Richard Huntley Secretary Here are just a few examples of letters of support that NWAMI has received of the years!
